Linda Coberly is the co-chair of Winston & Strawn’s Litigation Department and was a founding member of its Appellate & Critical Motions Practice. She has argued more than 60 appeals—spanning eight different federal circuits, as well as state appellate courts across the country—and has served as “appellate lawyer at trial” in courts on both coasts. She has particular expertise in securities and financial fraud cases, product liability suits, administrative law, and class actions. She provides advice on strategic legal issues at all stages of litigation, from before trial to the U.S. Supreme Court, informed by her time as a clerk for Justice Stephen G. Breyer.
