Harvey’s appellate experience consists of serving as Senior Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Phillip A. Hubbart (ret.) of the Third District Court of Appeal in Miami, 35 years as an Assistant Public Defender in the Appellate Division of the Public Defender’s Office, private civil appellate practice, 21-year Adjunct Professor at the University of Miami School of Law (teaching all of the appellate courses and coaching the school’s national and state moot court teams), member of The Florida Bar’s Appellate Court Rules Committee and Appellate Practice Section (Executive Council), frequent author to Florida Bar Publications on appellate law, and personally litigated more than 1500 civil and criminal appeals to all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of the United States and the Florida Supreme Court.
