Douglas W. Alexander

Doug Alexander is a founding partner of ALEXANDER DUBOSE & JEFFERSON LLP, an appellate boutique with offices in Austin, Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio. He is best known for his advocacy before the Supreme Court of Texas, where he has represented clients in over 200 proceedings.

Doug is a Fellow of the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers and former Chair of the Appellate Section of State Bar of Texas. He is recognized in Best Lawyers in America and Chambers USA for appellate litigation, and, for the past five years, Texas Super Lawyers has consistently listed him as a Top 10 Lawyer in Texas.

After graduating from the University of Houston Law Center, Doug clerked for former Chief Judge John R. Brown of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is licensed by the State Bars of Texas and California, and has been Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1990.
